State, Federal, and Immigration Custody

For an Ohio prison commitment or Adult Parole Authority status, use the ODRC Offender Search. For a sentenced federal prisoner, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator. For qualifying current or recent ICE custody, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator System. A federal pretrial release is usually documented in the controlling federal court docket because the U.S. Marshals Service has no public historical release locator.

These routes address different needs, so start with the record type rather than sending the same question to every office.
